It's that time of the year again—back to school. Whether you're already in school or heading back soon, it's great to think about the makeup that you'll be wearing, if any. Here are my top three mascaras to wear to school, in no particular order. They're all great for different things, so have a read to see what suits you best!
This mascara adds mostly volume, but also length, and spreads out your eyelashes to give a false effect. Although it has a wetter formula that has a tendency to clump, this mascara is very easy and quick to apply, and can give you long lasting results instantly. The mascara is very versatile; used in moderation, it can look very natural... and with a couple coats, it can look dramatic, like real falsies. I use this mascara on my top lashes only; it lasts all day and barely smudges, making it perfect for long days at school. However be warned—the waterproof power is so strong that the mascara can be a bit of a pain to wash off at the end of the day. If you don't want to have to spend a longer amount of time removing your makeup, save this mascara for special events.
You guessed it—this mascara will add a lot of length to your lashes. This water-resistant formula provides all of the benefits of a waterproof mascara (doesn't smudge, holds a curl longer, doesn't run if you cry), but without the hassle of removing that usually accompanies those perks. I personally use this mascara on both my top and bottom lashes, but it also works really well on the bottom lashes only, with the Falsies on the top lashes. Overall, this mascara is the most natural-looking out of the three... sometimes when I wear this, people are surprised to hear that I'm wearing mascara at all!
This is a more expensive, higher-end mascara compared to the other two. Just as the name suggests, this mascara has a waterproof formula. It's luxurious, and adds curl as well as volume and length to your lashes. This, and the fact that the mascara doesn't smudge, makes it great for everyday use. However, as with the Falsies, the waterproof power makes this mascara a bit of a struggle to remove; but I think that the amazing, buildable formula makes up for the fact that the removing is a bit of a pain.
